PestWorld 2016: Bringing the Industry’s Best Practices to Alaska

One such opportunity was attending the 2016 PestWorld convention that was recently held in Seattle, Washington.

PestWorld 2016 was a gathering of thousands of pest management professionals from around the world. The convention provided us with a chance to connect with other leaders in the field for information sharing, educational opportunities on best practices and an introduction to innovative products in the industry. So what does all this mean for you as the consumer? Quite a lot, actually.

We learn from the experiences of others

Although we may be the oldest and preferred local and statewide service for pest control in Alaska, that doesn’t mean we think we know it all. PestWorld 2016 gave us the opportunity to connect with and hear about the experiences of other leaders in the field from around the world. By sharing our experiences, we can all improve.

We participate in world-class educational sessions

Pests, like any other creatures, evolve, migrate and change to survive in an ever-changing world. At PestWorld 2016, we were given the opportunity to participate in some world-class educational sessions to get updates on how pests are evolving and changing around the world and how that can affect our customers in Alaska. This knowledge not only helps us to more effectively manage the pests we are already familiar with, but it helps us prepare for any new pests, as well.
